Since I was little, I have always admired swimming a lot. Even if I did not have access to the sport, I could practice on a few occasions. In 2016, I started dedicating myself. Since then, I have become a Bachelor of Computer Science, which lead me to an existential dilemma: go on to a master’s degree or take a new degree.
Sometimes, going through hardships, I get frustrated, but the desire to be better every day makes me KEEP TRYING!
During my journey in swimming, I started to get interested in the details: how everything works, how to improve my technique and time. It was not enough for me to go through a pre-established training routine. I wanted to understand how, why, when. I started by buying one book, then another, then five at a time. Later, I found myself with about fifteen books on swimming, so I asked myself if I was on the right path or if I should go into computing. After much reflection, I decided to get a degree in physical training.

The fruits of this journey include the coordination of an extension project, called Santa Natação (in English something like holy swimming), at the school where I work. This project allows students from other schools the opportunity to learn to swim and compete in school competitions and competitions of the local aquatic federation, Federação Aquática Norteriograndense — FAN.
Another fruit of this journey is this blog! I’m hungry for knowledge and love to study. Now everybody consumes videos, but I took the initiative to write and share some of what I learn or discover about swimming. If you like this and want me to continue posting, you can help me make a little donation. More here!
