After going through the basics, the swimming training changes a bit. We go away from drills a little and introduce new ways of training. There are several types of training sets and combinations of them. But before we go on this, we must know that they can be grouped into five training zones.

Here, a mental map in a table format is available with the initial information on this subject. Then, as I go deeper into the issue, I update the table and add new information or update the previous ones.

These zones have some characteristics, like set duration, set distance, rep distance, rep rest, heart rate below maximum (BBM — beats below maximum), and heart rate itself (BPM — beats per minute).
